I went down and drove this MR2 yesterday.

It was absolutely phenomenal. I cannot describe how beautifully that car handles. It has never been my privilege to drive such an awesome automobile.

I'm literally still smiling about the experience. That car is plastic, metal, glass, and rubber euphoria.

On Saturday (TOMORROW!!!!), I'm going down there with a check and driving back in that positively fantastic automobile. Today cannot pass anything approaching quickly enough.

Cute car! I know, that's such a chick thing to say, but it was my first reaction. Anyway, congrats on the new car.

Thank you! I only wish I were driving it down to Santa Cruz this evening for your performance.

Oh well, it'll wait for game night 8)

It has t-tops like my old one did! I loved riding around with the top open in warm weather...mmm...nostalgia. I hope you enjoy it.

I'm sure I'd enjoy one riding around with her top up -- but I digress. ; )

I can't imagine not enjoying it. This car is just so much more car than I ever thought I'd ever drive. It's a dream. Pure and simple.

If you don't mind me asking, what happened with yours? I can't imagine ever letting this one slip from my grasp.

Oh, it was around 11 years ago I think, and my hubby wanted to trade it in and eventually talked me into it. It was using a bit of oil and could have used a rebuild, so I finally said yes and we traded it in on a Toyota Paseo. I do have to admit though, we were looking for a spare car recently and I went online looking around for another MR2, but there were none to be had around here.

I drive a Toyota Matrix now...hmm, I apparently have a thing about Toyotas. ;)

Yeah, that is quite a run of Toyotas 8) Maybe you're a little Japanese woman at heart? ; )

Personally, I think I'd've divorced said hubby for even considering separating me from my MR2. But then again, I'm extremely straight, so any husband of mine would have to be *really* fantastic to keep me around.

Anyway, there's gotta be an MR2 with your name on it. Don't give up on it! ; )
