02:43 pm One amusing bit at work. Yesterday, our manufacturing crew passed an important Chinese inspection. Someone sent out an email about it and someone else said "I think a round of Saki would be appropriate at this point!"
I replied back that while the origin of sake was probably Chinese, sake is really Japanese and a round of millet wine is much more appropriate.
Someone else emailed back with "Got to respect a man (or woman) that knows the nuance of International drinking – welcome testing4l!"
I did rather enjoy that. 8)
The thread continued into an employee of Russian descent suggesting vodka and someone else poking fun that his choice of vodka (Grey Goose) is French.
I sure do like it here!

This is because the French know how to get drunk in the most pleasant of fashions ^.^ (And me being a Fench major means that my opinion is totally unbiased here) *hee!**
I don't know if the French have a lock on such things really -- I get drunk in the most pleasant of fashions when I get around to it.
It's just been a really depressingly long time since I've had cause. =/ |
