Nothing really got too out of control. I unfortunately was too short on time to really prepare anything. I even neglected to bring mixings for brain tumors.
It was unfortunately something of a pool party, but by and large, everything went OK. We met a few people (and re-met a few who had shown up to the last Armory party). Among them was a lovely girl named Kes (as she put it, "as in kestrel". Those of you who play Rogue will be amused). She nearly left early because her friends were leaving early. I offered to drive her home and, after a moment's consideration, accepted.
In general, festivities consisted of getting a beer or two from the keg and hopping in the pool. Those of us who were unprepared jumped in with our clothes. Later, a fad came of skinny dipping (of which I was the second person). That caused a lovely chain reaction of removal of clothing and most of us were unclothed for most of the night.
When the time came to leave, I was the only one with dry clothes, so relsqui borrowed a towel and Kes borrowed relsqui's sweater with the promise to return it on game night. Presumably, I'll pick her up as I leave work and we'll head over the hill.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing more of her.
Apart from that, everything's been OK. Anime Expo was great fun. The visit to Southern California was too short, but I did see to it that I got an ice blended out of it. Work's been relatively dull. Of late, it's involved helping beethatbumbles with her physics homework and talking to relsqui about RPG systems.
I need to zonk, so y'know, I'm going to.
