I decided to try a theory which was that if I unfriended about ~10 people or so, I'd have a smaller number of posts in the skip back view of my friends page. In doing so, I'd tend to check LJ more because the skip number would be in the 10's rather than the 100's. After checking on those friends, I'd go to the journal of those people and read through. Of course, by this point, the psychological effect would've been done.
It never once occurred to me that I would leave those people out of a post because I almost never friend posts. Until a couple of people posted in old comments and said "Dude! You unfriended me?"
To that handful of people: Sorry. I still love y'all 8)
In other news: Plans for this month are starting to look like gelatin about to solidify into solid steel. The Armory party is the 19th (the weekend post-testing4l's day). Everyone's welcome (It's an Armory party, after all!) and stuff.
I may have stuff and things on the weekend beforehand. At worst, I'll have dinner at the Crepe Place and/or Tiny's. relsqui has other plans, of course. Contact her if you want in on them and don't tell me anything. 8)
hell you can unfriend me, i don't give a shit and don't feel like our friendship is contingent upon our LJ buddy status. On the other hand I don't post that much so I guess eliminating me wouldn't really contribute one way or the other towards your need to thin your friends page any.
hm. is it happy hour? give me bourbon.
That and you're a complete and utter grade A jerk ; )
Nah, if I did that, who would solve your lame n00b problems?
(by the way, plug it in. ; ) )
gnyarrr... armory party....
I'll hella be there. I tink. I get off work at 5.30, and i'll head down immediately after. (figuring it won't start till ~7ish anyway.)
Damn, i've been away from SC in too long.
