Hey! YOU! YEAH, YOU WITH THE COFFEE STAINED BABY CARRIER! IT'S MEME TIME:
Quoth the replicant:
I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Then post this to your journal and see what people don't know about you.
First person to make me blush wins a stainless steel tea cosy.
i thought of something to ask, but i realized it would reflect poorly on me. so i'm gonna settle on what i originally thought to ask. how old are you?
And since when would that stop you?
I'm 0x18h. (Unsigned 8 bit arithmetic).
thanks, that tells me so much. the catholic-school brain-washing never really went away, so there are times when i show tact, good manners, and respect for other people. shocking, no?
Sure, sure. Use that as an excuse, why don't you?
I'm older than I've ever been and now I'm even older.
Those not as fond of base-16 hexadecimal arithmetic will note that my age is rapidly approaching the value on the largest commonly used coin in the United States.

Okay, now I'M curious. Is it tactful to ask me and then if I know I can tell you?
That depends on you telling me 8)
fraid not! you'll just have to live without knowing.

Bastard. I'll bug you about it at game night! Or else just recite all the personal information I can think of about Phil until either you get sick of it or I hit on the right one.

Tell me about your first kiss.
Easy one. Back of the school bus in 8th grade. Girl named Ardene LaTour. We'd been vaguely adversarial. At some point, some switch got flipped and she was really wild for me. I was kinda interested, so we started chatting up a bunch.
The next day, she sat in the same seat as me and we started talking and cuddling and stuff.
Somewhere in all that, she kissed me. I was kinda taken by surprise by all of it, but took control quickly enough to kiss her back.
I remember two things immediately about it. My thoughts immediately afterwards comparing it to pushing my tongue through a membrane and the smell of her perfume.
Apparently, I was a credible kisser from the get-go. Years later, I ran into her at #2
's party. She ended up pumping #2
for information about me afterwards. There was another story I heard from #2
after I'd broken up with #3
about the three of them hanging out and comparing notes about me.

Answering my own question, 'cause I feel like it.
"(girls|boys) tease you when they like you!" Remember that one? I haven't heard it since elementary school (and it wasn't much of a deterrent then, just an argument starter).
Ah yes, the trio who were trading you off for a while. :) I guess it's one of them I need to talk to if I want to find out about you as a naive youth.
I'm not shocked at all that yours was before mine (relative to our ages, I mean)--although mine could have been any of three, depending on what you count. Mouse, Sonia, Aaron and I were playing Truth or Dare spring of freshman year and that eventually involved kissing (including Mouse's first, not surprisingly from Sonia). Towards the end when we were sort of half-playing but not really paying attention any more Sonia randomly dared Aaron to kiss me, which he sort of halfheartedly did, and it didn't last long enough for me to react really.
So if that doesn't count, it would have been one of a number of much more involved kisses at a certain spin the bottle (actually, can) game. You would've loved it--there were two or three guys and about a dozen girls, most if not all of whom I kissed at some point.
If you don't count meaningless kisses (or kisses under duress), then you have to fast forward a year and some (more?) to a very surreal night when a bunch of us were sleeping over at Fran's. That involved a lot of cuddling and petting and eventually a good friendly smooch or two with Yoshi, which spawned as you know a short-lived relationship and a rather more durable acquaintance. Also a quote which stuck in my brain because it is both amusing and complimentary:
"You said that was the first time you'd been properly kissed..."
"Yes." (I was really embarrassed by that, though I don't know why on earth I should have been.)
"Then how come you're so damn good at it?"
(Side note: That last would place my first kiss with my second boyfriend and the third person I was in love with. Frustrating, that!)
