Well, I didn't see anyone actually living in it, but I did see Yellow Submarine for the very first time.

Strange film. Lovely film for being strange, really.

Seeing the soda bottle marked "Fizz" elicited a snicker from me.

relsqui was kind enough to make dinner (Farfalle with a cabernet marinara). I was kind enough to pour kiwi-strawberry juice for myself and a glass of milk for her.

One annoying bug of a two story house is that downstairs tends to get cold quickly.

The upshot of that is after you've gotten adjusted to downstairs and cuddling under a cold blanket, we return upstairs into the the sauna created in my room by two computers running and the door and window shut tight.

Really, really lovely 8)

I had a brief moment of depression and despair this afternoon. As I had begun to suspect, the job in Seaside is going to someone else. I have to drive down there tomorrow to pick up my check for the work I did on their systems. Bleah.

It was so bad that no amount of game playing or book reading could quite bring me out of it. So I did the logical thing and napped.

I hadn't meant to actually sleep, but apparently I did, for I awoke refreshed to relsqui returning.

Well, no problem with that in my book 8)

I've applied to a couple billion more jobs. Maybe one of 'em'll turn out? I got a strange questionaire from UCSC marked with a job # for an application that I apparently sent out. It's the standard race/gender/yadda demographics thing. It's been a long time since I applied for that job and didn't get anything indicating a negative.

So, maybe that's a positive? I'll keep looking for those four-leaf clovers just in case.
