The launch was cool. I'm glad I went to see Spaceship One win the X-Prize. We even had the frequencies so we heard all the launch chatter, confirmation of altitude, and so on.

The work was not. What really sucked was missing White Knight take off because we were busy selling parking to people.

They did a sort of victory lap with White Knight and the chase planes afterwards, so we at least got to see them flying around. We left too early to get a look at the planes though (which sucked).

The drive to Mojave was fun (and really fast. My housemate has a picture of my speedometer which I'll post soonish). The drive back was tiring. I hadn't had any sleep at that point. I pulled over at one point and napped for ~ an hour and a half which was enough to get me back to consciousness. I slept pretty solidly from getting back until this morning. The sleep cycle weirdness still has me thinking that like 3 days has passed since the launch.

Oh 8) And I have a bright yellow volunteer shirt 8) That's extra cool too!
