My wonderful Meg kitty.

I <3 thunder

So, it all starts with this XKCD about the ending of lines lining up in a conversation. XKCD experimented with this a little and had a character limit for a little. That channel worked out pretty well.

A bit later on, someone started <3 thunder -- you take the length of the longest nick in channel, subtract the length of your own nick, and add that many spaces. Then you type <3 thunder.

With the help of a willing op, you get a screen full of people with a perfectly aligned set of thunders. You kick the people who don't get it, kick them when they screw up, and kickban them when they try to disrupt it.

I started this particular one by accident. gemlikeflame followed it up and a couple of people jumped into the fray. And then it took over channel.

This run went on for over an hour. gemlikeflame caught a portion of it. As usual, I am cerise in that. You can tell that I was still kicking people, but transitioned into +v'ing the people who were genuine over the course of it, and then +m'd the channel.

The traffic was enough for the IRC server to +m the channel a couple of times.
