My wonderful Meg kitty.

(no subject)

Well, there it is folks. Perhaps the most amazing comeback we'll ever see. A man struck down in his prime by testicular cancer came back and won his sixth Tour de France. It's never been done before. Some say it never will be again.

From everything I've ever heard about him, he's a wonderful human being. Today, the most expensive hotel in France flies the flag of Texas. I caught the Tour late unfortunately. Just in time to see a few stages of Armstrong taking the yellow jersey and blow away the competition.

While there's rumors that he'll take a year off and perhaps that this'll be his last one, I dearly hope he goes for seven. He's said he's wanted seven before. I hope he gets it.

On another note, we've added one to our stuffed animal collection. relsqui has been longingly staring at these cuddly dogs at Safeway. I decided that I would no longer deny her that luxury and bought it for her.

I'd considered getting one for her on the sly, but it would have been far too difficult as it worked out.

It's extraordinarily soft and cuddly. I'm glad that Chip came to live with us. ; )
