A very happy birthday to plkitten13 -- congratulations on having avoided the combination of virii and bacteria which would cause a fatal reaction for another year!

To celebrate, Dresden Codak came up with a fun, if hopelessly elitist comic. "Peripeteia" can be characterized as a sudden change from the status quo and "anagnorsis" as a sudden revelation. "Macguffin" is an interesting enough term that I'll make you guys look it up.

I actually didn't have anything else to say. Life's been really exceptionally boring for me. Work, hockey, sleep, work, hockey, repeat...

EDIT: One other bit. The name of the assassin in All Tomorrow's Parties I mentioned a few posts ago was Konrad. This quote sums his view up nicely:
