Fashionable, but unable to tell fact from fiction

I've been going to sleep later and later and later. Last night I was up until 6am and I don't remember why.

Today I drove down to Santa Cruz in the hopes of scoring a Jack's burger...but they weren't open. I decided on a trip to Karpo's, but the one on the Westside closed. At that point, I elected to quit pressing my luck and went to McDonald's. Additionally, I stopped off at The Armory to visit spcecdt, pax, and their two kids. zenomt was off in San Diego. I gave pax a DVD of The Wizard of Speed and Time. She introduced me to WoSaT, but never actually showed it to me because she made the error of lending someone the tape quite some time ago.

Conversing with them was nice. It reminded me of times long since past.

After that, I rushed up for an accidental Rock Band party and to visit sigje at her insistence. It's hard to get back in the LUG state of mind, but I was reminded why I ought to. Being social is something that I've missed.

Tomorrow -- at stonesundial's generous invitation -- I will be going to see Beowulf. I've heard of various injustices done to the story which all seem fairly major, so I'm really not going in with any hope of even a minorly good movie. Most of the reason I'm going is because stonesundial saw it before in non-3D and the only good things I've heard about the film are about it being in three separate 3D formats.

This morning, I'm bucking the trend. With luck, I'll be up at noonish.
