Saw Stardust. Loved it. It wasn't exactly the book in just the right ways to make it the same as the book was the first time for everyone who read it first.

Saw the preview for Beowulf and I'm disappointed in advance. I know it's supposed to be based on the graphic novel, but I have the definite impression that it isn't the same story.

Met Ziggy, a friend from IRC. He was in town for a job interview. If he accepts the offer, then we may be seeing more of him and I'd be AOK with that -- especially if it involves Mongolian BBQ and Stardust. Caught japolo for some OK sushi today. Too short a time hanging out with him.

My video game collection grows -- I scored a DS, GBA, Gameboy Color, and...yes...another Atari 2600 for $25 from a neat guy in Redwood City with a Carrera in the garage and a classic Porsche sitting outside. We chatted for a bit about various things. Nice guy.

There are things to say and memes to do and comments to write, but work is keeping me far busier than I'd like. I will probably end up going in to the office tomorrow which is a good and a bad thing.

It's a bad thing because it makes me feel like I'm growing up and taking on responsibilities.

It's a good thing because I've found work that I want to succeed so badly that I'm willing to sacrifice my leisure time to it unasked.

And that's me at the moment. I'm off to rest for an industrious day tomorrow.
