I find that one of my greatest difficulties in being a good boyfriend is managing ways to be romantic in situations like this. One can keep their head down and stay out of the way, but that only ensures a negative day for both parties. Trying to help directly usually becomes unwanted advice and ensures a negative day for both parties. It's difficult in this situation to make things work out positively.
I just ran out to the market to get some supplies -- thank goodness for the race of Morlocks that Safeway hires to work on July 4th. I also asked her to throw a load of dishes in the washing machine. Among the necessities, I acquired a means by which she might cool off.
It may just fit the bill. It's one of those neat tricks that works only once in a while though. Still -- it's a good day for it.
Lastly -- an irresistable sightgag on cat macros and big-O notation.
One of these days, I'll get back to writing something useful.
