I occasionally get the question "So what do you want for your birthday?"
Honestly, I've fallen in the habit of not getting anything for friends. Many of my friends feel a little put upon when you give them something. I don't -- and I'm only too happy to give gifts -- but that tendency has turned into a pretty good assumption for my social group, oddly. It occasionally dovetails with less-than-stellar financial realities, which is nice too 8)
Anyway. On that list of things for my birthday -- a rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle.

a rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle. I know a place in Seattle that might have those. Hmmm ...
It's times like this that I wish I didn't look at that IP, instantly translate it to a UCSC IP address, and have all the mystery of who might be getting me a rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle removed.
It wasn't me. I don't know where to find a rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle. I do, however, know where you can get space travel supplies
in Seattle. The store's slogan is "If We Don't Have It, You Don't Need It."
I could tell it wasn't you by your IP. Besides, you don't have access to UC Santa Cruz computers to the best of my knowledge.
I wish the website had more info, but I adore that store. The bit at the bottom reminds me of a pepper grind my grandparents have which said "Manufactured in Chicago, Illinois of the United States of America on the third planet from the sun".
I always did like that. I'm living for the day that I can tell people that and have their address not include the bit about the third planet from the sun.
Wasn't me either. But when's your birthday?
So, what do you want for your birthday? xD

I don't think they actually make those. I know that, at least some years after the first Monkey Island game, the LucasArts offices had one that they had made themselves. I saw a picture in an interview, though I don't remember who with and wouldn't really know how to look for it.
