A fool and his money...

Also, relsqui and I just got a PS2. We picked up Gran Turismo 4 (Jeremy Clarkson's recommendation was enough for me) and rented Super Monkey Ball.

I spent all last night playing GT4. I noted with glee that they have a supercharged version of the AW-11 (my MR2). Then I started bitching about how some parts were realistic.

Then I turned off the driving aids -- the traction control and steering-by-wire. *so* much better. THAT's the way a car's supposed to slide. My driving improved some at that point. As relsqui observed "He's doing better now. He's hitting the walls faster and sideways." It's hard to have subtlety when your throttle and brakes are on/off controls.

I drove a Subaru WRX through the mud after that. Rather well, if I say so myself. I do believe I'll enjoy that game -- more so when I get a wheel & pedals for it.

We still need a memory card. That will be remedied eventually, I'm sure.

Good news, everybody! The Fish Cam still exists!

And. Umm. That is all.
