Wooha! I heard from Sparky that it's true! *does a dance* Congratufreakinglations! That's wonderful, you both must be shining and happy. And thanks, to the above comment- I like me some Dori. XD

You know what they say about the rumors -- they're always true 8)

Thanks indeed, though the "shining and happy" part is less than I might have expected. There's an extra little warm glow, but it's quiet and in the background. It's an overall betterness, not a stream of fireworks shooting off explosively and leaving no trace in 10 minutes time.

All in all, I think it's better that way 8)

Additionally (although she didn't mention it), I suspect there's an extra reason why she's pleased by it relating to her name.

It's totally considered bad-form to make April Fools jokes after noon.

You totally just made that up. I'm rarely AWAKE before noon when I don't have to be.

I totally didn't make that up at all. I made a joke on a UK-based message board one time at 8a(EST) and they all jumpped on me about it, saying I shouldn't make jokes after noon 'cause that's just how it works.

Ok, so you got it from some crazy Brits who made it up.

The only reason they thought so was because their clocks are hopelessly wrong. They're like ~8 hours off.

It wasn't too late for you! ; )

Actually, it was the truth. Really! Though we did the opposite last year.

Definitely no huppah -- I'm an atheist and she's lazily agnostic.

My thanks, all the same. 8)

Sweety, I couldn't have done it without you 8) I did the easy part by promising to put up with her for the rest of my life. That necklace is truly wonderful. When she wears it, I'm reminded that I'm not only fortunate to have found a wonderful girl, but additionally that we have such fantastic friends.

Maybe not everyone -- I've yet to receive word from a head of state, after all. ; )
