I'm sitting in front of the window at the front of the Armory looking out over McMillan from my new room.

littlegreenmen is online once more from its new home. Podkayne is appropriately plugged in.

Life is pretty darn good 8)

I still have the gorilla racks and all the other random tetrised crap I have in my room.

In its way, it seems insurmountable, but it's just a matter of time, I suppose. So long as I keep chipping away at it.

Uber giant metal buff racks.

It's where my big heavy stuff lives.

Since an example came to mind: My Aspect 3000 at one point lived on the top shelf of my gorilla rack. I believe it's the only item in my room that I can't carry on my own. If I had the heart to carry it downstairs and then back upstairs, I'd weigh it, but that's a whole lot of wasted effort.

http://purdueriots.com/compcollect/aspect3k/ has quite a selection of pretty pictures. My front panel is green though. I have the same Bruker drive.

It was apparently a very popular computer to plug into your favorite spectrometer and have fun with.

Sadly, when UCSC threw out the computer, they did not throw out the spectrometer. =/
